Utes Are Coming To Town

There will be no time for licking of the wounds for the Trojans this week coming off a disappointing loss to the Irish, as the undefeated Utah Utes come to town on Saturday at the Coliseum in what promises to be another physical match-up.

This is not the Utah team that many longtime followers of college football will remember from the Mountain West conference, a team that would occasionally get an NFL prospect or two while playing mostly finesse football. Instead, they are a program under Kyle Whittingham, in his 11th year as coach of the Utes, that has risen to the challenge of joining the Pac-12 conference and taken a significant step up in talent level and physical identity.
