Defensively Speaking: WSU 2018

Friday night’s game was equal parts entertaining to equal parts frustrating. At the end, we stole a victory away from WSU with just enough offense and barely enough defense and a memorable field goal block by Jay Tufele which was the game saver play of the night.

We needed the win

We’re not here to say that all of those issues have been wiped away with the Trojans 39-36 victory over Washington State but for one night it was a performance the program desperately needed.

Trojans get much-needed win

USC really needed a bounce back week after their disastrous performance against the Texas Longhorns last week, but through the first half it looked as if Mike Leach and his boys were having their way with the Trojans.

USC not only lost against Texas but they did it in front of a good number of big time recruits, including one of their prized recruits in Bru McCoy, a wide receiver from Mater Dei.
