USC targets in action: Week 7 numbers

A look at the stats some USC recruits recorded in their games this past weekend


Class of 2017


* ATH Juwan Burgess (Tampa, Fla./Plant) – USC commit

– On defense Burgess compiled six tackles (4 solo), one pass break-up, one fumble recovery and one interception that he returned 58 yards, and he also caught two passes for 13 yards on the offensive side of the ball in a 50-13 victory over Tampa (Fla.) Gaither.


* RB Stephen Carr (Fontana, Calif./Summit) – USC commit

– Had 35 carries for 194 yards and two touchdowns in a 31-28 victory over Grand Terrace (Calif.).


* DE Hunter Echols (Los Angeles, Calif./Cathedral) – USC commit

– Had five tackles and four quarterback hurries in a 17-0 victory over Pasadena (Calif.) La Salle.


* WR Randal Grimes (Las Vegas, Nev./Desert Pines) – USC commit

– Lining up at quarterback, Grimes threw a 50-yard touchdown pass in a 27-20 victory over Las Vegas (Nev.) Sunrise Mountain.


* WR Marlon Williams (Mobile, Ala./McGill-Toolen) – USC commit

– Came up with a touchdown reception in a 42-7 victory over Mobile (Ala.) Baker.


* RB Najee Harris (Antioch, Calif./Antioch) – Alabama commit

– Had 16 carries for 268 yards and two touchdowns in a 62-25 victory over Brentwood (Calif.) Liberty.


* RB Sione Heimuli-Lund (Salt Lake City, Utah/Brighton) – Stanford commit

– Had 22 carries for 137 yards and two touchdowns, and one reception for 8 yards in a 35-6 victory over West Jordan (Utah) Copper Hills.


* DT Greg Rogers (Las Vegas, Nev./Arbor View)

– Had nine tackles with two tackles-for-loss in a 28-7 victory over Las Vegas (Nev.) Palo Verde.


* QB Tua Tagovailoa (Honolulu, Hawaii/Saint Louis) – Alabama commit

– Threw for 113 yards and one touchdown with one interception, and he also ran for 21 yards in a 33-0 victory over Honolulu (Hawaii) ‘Iolani.


Class of 2018


* LB Raymond Scott (Harbor City, Calif./Narbonne) – USC commit

– Had six tackles (4 solo) in a 59-0 victory over Carson (Calif.).


* WR Manuel Allen (Corona, Calif./Centennial)

– Caught four passes for 36 yards in a 45-7 victory over Corona (Calif.) Santiago.


* TE Brevin Jordan (Las Vegas, Nev./Bishop Gorman)

– Caught three passes for 42 yards in a 58-0 victory over Las Vegas (Nev.) Clark.


* RB T.J. Pledger (West Hills, Calif./Chaminade)

– Had 27 carries for 165 yards and two touchdowns in a 28-14 victory over Mission Hills (Calif.) Alemany.


* WR Nikko Remigio (Santa Ana, Calif./Mater Dei)

– Caught four passes for 46 yards in a 56-14 victory over Orange (Calif.) Lutheran.


* LB Merlin Robertson (Gardena, Calif./Serra)

– Had 10 tackles with two sacks in a 28-12 victory over La Puente (Calif.) Bishop Amat.


* WR Amon-Ra St. Brown (Santa Ana, Calif./Mater Dei)

– Had four receptions for 59 yards and one touchdown in the victory over Orange Lutheran.


* WR Chase Williams (Eastvale, Calif./Roosevelt)

– Caught three passes for 74 yards and one touchdown in a 56-37 victory over Corona (Calif.).


Class of 2019


* QB JT Daniels (Santa Ana, Calif./Mater Dei)

– Completed 30 of 36 passes for 406 yards and five touchdowns in the victory over Orange Lutheran.


* ATH Bru McCoy (Santa Ana, Calif./Mater Dei)

– Caught two passes for 40 yards and one touchdown in the victory over Orange Lutheran.


* CB Max Williams (Gardena, Calif./Serra)

– Had three receptions for 36 yards and one touchdown, and he made three tackles on defense in the victory over Bishop Amat.
