LOS ANGELES — The offseason for USC Trojans football fans can be such a drag unless you are a complete recruit-aholic and follow those celebrated blue-chippers and their summer camp performances. For the less obsessed USC fan, the spring-into-summer doldrums can be a time for reflection and appreciation of what a traditional Coliseum autumn afternoon or evening really means.
