USC adds Fresno State to future football schedule

Fresno State hasn’t always been a common opponent for USC football, but the two programs are going to see quite a bit of each other over the coming years.

USC and Fresno State have played just five times in the past, with the Trojans holding a 4-1 record against the Bulldogs (one win was vacated). USC grabbed a 31-23 win over Fresno State to open the 2019 season, and the two teams were scheduled to line up against in 2022 and 2025.

Now, they’re set to meet again in 2028, as that game has been added to the future schedule. Also, the 2025 meeting has been shifted back to Sept. 5, 2026.
