Pili is a Trojan

USC received a verbal commitment on Saturday from DT Brandon Pili (6-4, 310) from Westview HS in Oregon, who chose the Trojans over Oregon State.

Pili had moved to Oregon from Washington last year and the Trojans and Beavers were two of the first schools to begin recruiting him. He was a consensus three-star recruit for the various recruiting sites.

Brandon is the 16th verbal commit for the Trojans in the class of 2017, and the 4th DL. Two other top DL recruits (Marlon Tuipulotu, also from Oregon, and Jay Tufele are visiting USC this weekend.
