THAT game. 12 and a half years later, I'm still mad.

    13-9
So bad that all you have to say is the score.

And my cousin married a fUCLA graduate who was watching with us. Made it even worse.

The entire last season of Paul Hackett.
If you were there you understand the total embarrassment.

A season with each game worse than the Stanford loss as 41 point favorites. A whole team of Zach Banner jumping offsides.

I would rather watch a Richard Simmons marathon than re-watch one of those games.

Yeah, that was the game that John David Booty broke a finger but refused to come out of the game and threw three picks because of it. I still believe had Carrol put in Mark Sanchez they could have pulled it out

The 2006 loss to the team across town and that Thursday night loss at Oregon State. Both losses cost them shots at the National Championship. Both games they should have won.

To this day I rue Bush trying to pitch the ball after that big play, Lendale getting stuffed on 4th down with Bush not even being on the field and Ting dropping the interception on the Texas game winning drive. If any of those things doesn't happen USC wins the game.

All I remember from those years was if we went into the locker room at half time with a 21-0 lead, I would turn to my wife and say "we're in trouble."

Well that and Brad Otton / Keyshawn Johnson. And the beginning of the Carson Palmer years. Rose Bowl win and finally breaking the streak against Notre Dame were good moments.

Brad Otton being interview by Lizelle years ago:

2006 Rose Bowl/BCS Championship against Texas. Ponied up a chunk of coin for tickets for me and my date. I remember walking up that hill on the eastside of the RB in such a foul mood and she was smiling, laughing and talking on and on and on. I was in a deep, dark funk until April/May.

You forgot Darnell Bing's mindless and needless facemask penalty along the sideline bailing Texas out of a long 4th down.

2006 against Texas, nothing else close
1989 at ND.- smiling ref marks USC short on a 3rd down that was clearly made. Instead USC punts, and it is returned for a TD in a 28-24 loss.
At Oregon 2009- sad to see Pete get blown out and and desheveled on the sideline

Texas NC Game. Not even a close call.

I know this is a football topic but the Basketball Loss to Georgia Tech on that buzzer beater 3 by a guy who had made 0 3's sticks with me as well.
Harold Minor and team were poised for a final 4 run.
