I doubt there is any way that Max Brown will play for SC with his final year of eligibility. Since he has graduated he can transfer without penalty. He will not spend another year on the bench. Which schools will offer him the best opportunity to play?

you are assuming he does not win back the job, Darnold does not get injured, and he wants to go somewhere else....

if none of that happens.......maybe he tries the NFL pro day, maybe he goes second tier, maybe he goes LSU or some other top tier school in need of a QB.

We are just like Mt. Everest, in that we have a habit of creating our own weather patterns....in this case, another $hit storm of rumors!

We've got enough to worry about without going into overtime stirring up our base with speculative falsehoods, unfounded innuendos and tinfoil hat theories!

Let's try and get through this season first, before we guess what's going to happen come Spring time!

    Fight On,

    Jeff

Lots of possibilities right in the Pac12 with one and done QBs: Cal, Oregon. I think WSU will be looking for a new QB - would be close to home.
    Could be interesting.

LSU, when Kiffin takes over. hahaha! oh man could you imagine the look on poor Ed. O's face - when he brings Sark with him? oh man, that would be the suckiest thing ever.

I believe he stays. It's too late in his career to switch schools with one year left to make his mark

I think Houston is a possibility. A school such as Texas A&M is possible since they have their own grad transfer right now.

North Dakota State produced the second overall player selected in this year's draft - a QB at that. Hmmm...Max Browne Bison. Works for me!

As long as it's a traditional pro style offense.....

    Disregarding the misspelled last name?

If he's lucky, a great college team.
    If his bad luck continues?

    The Browns.

Having to read poor grammar and spelling annoys me as much as anybody, but that's a high expectation given this is a message board, there's no spellchecker, and most of us post using mobile phones (and often times the phone spellchecker inserts "Brown" even if you type "Browne").

IF he transfers, Michigan State would be a good spot for him. They do not run a spread offense and their stating QB is a redshirt senior. They are consistently ranked high and have a great coaching staff.

Why is this even a discussion?
Right now he is a Trojan.
He spent five years here, and lost his spot for reasons unknown.
He may get his job back but there too many unknowns to say he's leaving AND will play again in college football next season.

Just look at whatever team has a senior QB this year or an unstable QB position... Or whatever school that Kiffin ends up at will be another option for Max.

I don't know the exact rule, but I've heard that in order for a graduating player to transfer they have to do it in that year --before enrolling at a graduate program. Max is already a graduate student at USC this year, so I thought that clouded his ability to transfer without having to wait a year.

Whatever happened to Dan Quayle? He would've put an "e" on the end.
