Was it happen stance or was the field slippery last night?

Several players slipped last night on both teams. I am not referring to the people who were bumped and lost their balance. Or did I see something that wasn't there?

 

It had rained earlier in the day.

 

Maybe the TURF MONSTER!!!

 

Cold, wet and slick.

Seattle is wet anyway, but as the evening got cooler, the condensation/dew continued to make the footing tenuous.

 

It rained yesterday morning and the previous night. It was cool during the game as well (although I'm not sure what the normal temp is in Seattle this time of year, but it was low 50s). Field looked very nice though.

 

It was slippery and drippy and we maybe didn't have the right cleats on. You probably notice that on College Game Day. It rained all morning off & on and didn't warm up enough to evaporate anything; ie saturated surfaces. typical starting in mid-late October every year. That's why you have to keep a good wax job on your car or the paint won't last.

 

The wet condition seem to impact our players more. Is WA just used to it? Footwear?
