Seems like it changes every week. New additions for the men are Eric Allen Jr. a 10.43/20.91 sprinter from Maryland. Allen was committed to Tennessee but flipped to SC. Noah Green a 13.51/52.52 hurdler from Texas. Omotade Ojora a 13.54 hurdler from England and Sam VanDorpe a 1:51 800 runner from Orange County. Christian Sourapas is no longer listed.

Don't know how coach Smith-Gilbert does it. There are 30 men listed on the track roster and at least 18 could be on scholarship. The women have 42 listed and probably 25 should or could be on some kind of scholarship.

The men are allowed 12.6 and the women 18 full scholarships. So there must be some partial scholarships or other creative ways of fitting the athletes on the roster.

I give Coach Caryl and Staff all of the credit in the world, with how they've added to the current roster. I would agree that there must be numerous athletes with partial scholarships, with many of them being excellent students as well. I still think that the major deficit with the Men, is the lack of a national caliber horizontal jumper.

SC has added some jumpers to its roster although not national caliper types. They are now in the 23-24 foot range.( Talin Lewis and Ayden Owens.) Owens looks more like a football player than an track athlete.
