The only player I think will transfer is Fink. I don’t see anybody else who is not starting having the talent that will have other universities clamoring to sign them. Seems to me the portal is full of kids that languish what seems forever and not get signed to another university. Unless you’re a prominent player, the portal seems to be a big gamble....

 

I’m afraid JT Daniels. He’s to good to sit. Let’s not forget that he was the starter, and was doing great until our OL got him blown up.
I can also see Fink leaving. That would leave us with 1 QB who does have some injury concerns.

 

JT and his father already said they are staying and competing,

With Slovis going down every other game, anything can happen....and his shoulder could be torn/wrecked after last night.

 

During the broadcast they said JT will graduate next year. So he will not transfer this season. He will get his SC degree and be a graduate transfer after next season, assuming that he stays a backup.

 

Fink would have the same problem as last year. Good, not great QB who will only find a starting spot at a Group of Five school, and one that really is in need of a QB. Great kid, love him to death, but the question is does he even want to play another year?

 

Stepp. Why stay if we never run

 

I wouldn't be surprised if Daniels is the starter next year. Maybe Helton is one of those coaches who believes that a player can't lose his starting job because of an injury. If so, I don't believe that Slovis would want to sit for two years.

 

I bet Stepp for sure and maybe even Christon. That kid burns his RS to help the team and then pretty much gets used as a bystander the last 2-3 games.

And Carr is awful; Malepai is a 3rd down back.

Slovis career is in danger. Injured shoulders are no joke for a thrower. JT has a real chance to start again.

If I was ITS, I would be gone in a heartbeat. Forced to split-time with a guy who turned his back on the Trojans then came back after problems elsewhere in Florida and no scholarship available in Oregon.

 

Who says only non-starters would consider leaving our train wreck of a program?

 

Why would ANY running back stay if they had options elswhere? And that's why we'll never get a another blue chip RB while we're running the WSU offense.
