Whoever comes in as DC has the following canned goods ready to cook

    Connor Murphy
    Jay Tufele
    Marlon Tuiulotu
    Brandon Pili
    Drake Jackson
    Caleb Tremblay
    Mclain Abdule-Malik
    Plalaie Gaoteote
    Olaiijah Griffin
    Talanoa Hufanga
    Isaiah Pola-Mao
    Isacc Taylor-Stuart
    Greg Johnson
    Chriss Steele
    C.J. Pollard
    Max Williams
    Chase Williams
    Raymond Scott

Have no idea why Clancy failed with that group plus the others on the bench

Soft culture. The lack of physicality is corrosive to the team as a whole. Iron sharpens iron, and Helton has created the "Claydo" culture at USC. Good luck to the next DC, if Helton continues with the pussification of USC football.

Great list - why no Solomon? Is he done?
Either way the right staff would be happy to have that as their base.

How many of those kids could Pete have made into NFL’ers? Feel so bad for those kids and what he is costing some of them. Sorry doesn’t fix missing out on life (maybe generational) changing opportunities.

The next DC will need to hold his own practices, completely under his control. If he wants to have a batters chance of molding those players into an elite unit. Because a lot of them have been wasting their talent and have most likely been playing out of position for three to four years. So that means a new DC will need to retrain a whole host of players that may or may not fit their system.

All under Mr.Fight, and do it despite him. That's going to be a tough task, especially with the schedule next year.

Other than that, Clancy failed because he's old cheese and fought against adapting to the times just like Mr.Fight. Who enabled him to continue in his inability to improve as a coach and recruiter. Another individual, like Baxter, and Mr.Fight that only say things because they sound good but others know they don't believe in them.

So the players never brought into him despite them noting some changes. I'm sure those were only halfassed. And made even worse due to Mr.Fight's crappy program.

Can not some of us discuss the new DC without pricks like you taking a dump on everything?

Taking a dump? Do you mean dealing in reality?

Gonna have to realize that as long as Mr.Fight continues his soft practices, his lack of holding players accountable, not making sure that their mental game is top-notch. It usually means no matter who the new DC or ST coach is, the problems that have plagued the program for five years now will continue and they will impede any new coaches' new system. Especially if they run counter to Mr.Fight's comfort zone (Ice cream, Call of Duty, and other cute stuff).

Sorry if that messes up the fantasy

Hey Boselli, go fuck yourself if you do not like the truth. All of us can have a discussion about a new DC, we have been doing it. You are just overly sensitive to the reality of the situation. Helton is still at the helm, so if you are banking on a new DC to all of sudden change things, you are going to be sorely disappointed. Helton is the problem, not the 22+ assistants and coordinators he has gone through on his staff. This is Helton's team, and no coordinator nor assistant is going to change that.

Exactly not a lot of top-notch conditioned bodies left over from a good staff or sense of practice. The players don't live in a vacuum.

I know plenty of people that actually have a clue about football even when they are drunk. Let's not blame his complete inability to understand football concepts on alcohol.

Actually the "prick" "taking a dump on everything" is Clay Helton.

If you don't get that, well, you are looking at the wrong website.
