Why would you even speculate until they get some game time under their belts?

Simon looks much older, physically. So my bet is he will get the jump early. Davis could pass for a 15 year old with that baby face. Davis get rave reviews for his instincts, and find his way into the rotation.

Both will provide speed that has been lacking with the LB group

I won't get into who's going to be the better player, as you already know my opinion is bias and who knows how these kids will turn out. Simon looks like a helluva player a great looking athlete, but I will say that I believe Raesjon is more refined in the aspects you look for in a 3 down linebacker at this point (can hit, can cover/play in space, pass rush)

Raesjon isn't an athlete trying to mold into a LB, he's a LB with the skill set of an athlete.

Speed is definitely needed on both sides of the football.

What would be the point of comparison? They have both played in different parts of the country, against different teams. There is no mutual camp to compare skills. I am just thankful to have both - they will add a new dimension to our defense and to the success of our team.

I’m looking forward to seeing both these young men as Trojans. I hope both kill it at SC. Until they get on a college campus and start competing at that level, all else about them is just pure speculation. Just as speculative as the Dart and Moss comparisons.

The baby face assassin vs the old man and the sea!
Will be fun watching them perform, we're blessed to have both.
Look forward to their departure in 3 years.
I just think the Old man will handle additional weight better.

We need playmakers at LB. I think both of these kids can fit the bill, even with different skill sets. Excited to see what both of them will do.

Frankly I wouldn't mind seeing a bigger one to go along with these two great athletes.

Stronger? Who knows? Hopefully both come in and beat the everlasting piss out of Oregon offensive players though. Send a message to those frauds up north. Zero titles isn't running the Pac-12.

Shoot, glad we got both of them. They are exceptional talent, fast and equally good. At some point in their college careers, Davis and Simon will become All PAC 12 players. Both players are fast + good size. I prefer fast LB's 215 to 225 over the bigger 235 to 250 guys. These days, LB's must be fast, able to cover the entire field due to the heavily, emphasized passing teams.

It would be good if DB, Anthony Beavers, 195 lbs convert and join them as a fast, hybred LB (become a Palomalu, Huffanga, Sua Craven and Sammy Knight type player). Beaver's could easily put on 20 lbs and not lose his speed.

These trio of Davis, Simon and Beavers would make our D and LB unit crazy good.

Both look like ultra-competitive ballers, with big block motors....just glad we got both!

The RPO QBs are a load to contain....the fast LBs and safeties are a must....
