Goff might be more overpaid than Cousins at this point.

Every throw is a duck even the completions. Probably hasn't fully recovered yet

Well considering it hasn't even been 2 weeks since surgery for his broken thumb I'd say that's a pretty strong bet lol

Thread didn’t age well. I don’t like Goff but he played well enough to win an important playoff game on the road. The defense was great.

Lakers and Dodgers won championship in the covid season. Now Rams need to make it a trifecta.

    Lol...gutsy performance by Goff....

McVay can scheme with the best....

With that D, I wont be surprised if the Rams can make a run....

The Rams have a great D. If they don't turn the ball over on offense and can score more than 20 points, they can play with anyone. Green Bay is going to be a tough nut though. It will be cold. And we know how that story plays out for the Rams. They have never won a cold weather playoff game. Usually gets ugly.

Even without Donald, that D put so much pressure on Wilson, his skills were negated....

The running game has to clicking, and no bad turnovers....with a run game, Goff is like all world with that play action....

If Im Green Bay, id be UNCOMFORTABLE with this team....

Lol...when has Rodgers never.been money? Dudes a given, lights out, if given the time...

But the Rams have a great D, can rush the pocket, and playmaking corners in Ramsay and Williams...

I like the Rams chances, will give Green Bay a game....they.might lose, but itll be a game...

They won because of the defense. If wolford could play, Golf would have been on the bench

What frightened me most was that Goff's backup was Johnny Hekker, the punter.

Goff, even when fully healthy, is basically just an average NFL QB. His main positive attribute is maybe a B+ on arm strength, and an A- on passing accuracy, *IF* his run game is working well, and *IF* his offensive line give him time.

If he gets pressured and has to move about in the pocket, he's slow, not very elusive, incapable of breaking tackles, and bad at throwing on the run. He's distinctly below average if you get any type of pressure on him.

Thankfully, the Rams' defense played lights out, and their running game was very effective. Watching the Rams' O-line open big holes again and again and Cam Akers doing his thing made me wistful of the days when Trojan running backs used to do the same things, and having a great QB was a luxury, and not a necessity.

No matter - without any healthy QBs, and without Aaron Donald, the Rams' season will end this Saturday. Barring Aaron Rodgers doing his best Ben Roethlisberger impression, I just don't see the Rams getting past the Packers in Green Bay, Wiskonskiiy Oblast.

Wilson is washed up, Pete spent two first round picks on a mediocre safety. Pete should bail on Seattle leaving them high and dry like he did USC.

Hekker is one of my favorite Rams. The guy is a gamer and he can throw the old pigskin if it came to it but the Rams will look like the Germans at Stalingrad in those frosty conditions. Never a good sign for them. In some weird way, windy and cold conditions might actually help the Rams by slowing down Rodgers' passing game. Maybe they could grind out an ugly win with their D and running game. Hope springs eternal.
