Announcers mentioned the SEC participants throughout the women's finals telecast. Got impression they were trying to make a statement. Congratulations to SC, Stanford and Oregon for showing great PAC 12 representation.

Thought the same thing when she got hired. She and her staff are doing an excellent job, showing that SC coaches can not only recruit, but teach a team how to be winners.

Sorry. Obscure but amazing race from a couple of years ago. The commentary is particularly superb.

On track sites I've seen Saturday's version referred to as, "USC from the Depths of Hell." :

    It got nauseating.
Non stop chatter about Georgia's chances of winning it all for the last hour of the telecast. They would say things like "And Stanford and USC have a chance." and then "but how about those bulldogs? "

Can't get too surprised, ESPN is the shill for the SEC. Nauseous, yes! I thought it was great that 4 Pac-12 schools made it in the top 10 on the women's side.

Well, perhaps they were playing up the bridesmaid angle. That was the men's first ever track title and the women only have one indoors, but none outdoors. It would have been a compelling story if both had clinched in the same year.
