Yesterday he said give up on Labor Day, Halloween & holidays. So he is hoping for vaccine next year. Rams have given up on season by refunding my season ticket $$. SC will not be playing at Coli this fall. SC bean counters at HH have to be crying.

With positive tests plunging this week he will need to change his tune or make up some big horrendous COVID numbers soon... the science is working against him now.

I wouldn’t call 5,000 new cases, and 197 deaths, just yesterday, “plunging”. It is an improvement and that’s important. Still a little soon to break out the “Mission Accomplished” banner.

Guarantee that the cases will spike up again after Labor Day. This isn’t going away until there is a vaccine, or medicine to at least keep the ICU and hospital visits down dramatically.

Is anybody with even a partial function cortex planning on college football this season? If you are, you are the stupidest croc in the whole river.

Let's see... the California Covid update report yesterday 8/4 for results of 8/3 were
4,526 new positive cases from 121,017 tests... that is a positive test rate of 3.73% the second day in a row under 4%.
the state goal is under 8%... the rolling 14 day average positive test rate is 6.75% down from 7.1% the day before
Since 2/1 the average positive rate is 6.25%.
There were 113 deaths making it 9,501 total... well below NY City's 11,323 deaths that Dr. Fauci said was "doing it right".
The mortality rate for California is 1.82%
Hospitalizations were down 97 to 6,302 and ICU patients were down 17 to 1,892
after a couple of weeks of reported SURGE in new cases.
A state with just under 40 million people.

I would say the numbers look good and nobody said to roll out a Mission Accomplished banner... you want to misstate numbers for your convenience go ahead but I like to see ALL the numbers and facts CORRECT and put them in perspective.

The spike from the riots and protests seem to be subsiding. Let’s see how we manufacture a new spike this fall.

WTF? That idiot said this? Who does the idiot think he is now, Nostradamus? Sheesh, how more reckless can he get? His comment alone is absurd and a deserving reason for his incompetent ass to get recalled.

My beef is that we have taken every good blip in the data as an excuse to party like it's 1999. As a result we have been half-assing it since March and are so much worse off than the other countries now. It's one thing to say "we're making progress, keep it up". It's another to say "we're making progress, problem solved, everybody go back to normal".

    Happy to be that dunce.

Just curious, are Trump rallies not a form of congregation? Are you ok w/ those?

Well you are a great practice in stupidity. So your journey has been successful. I'll be more than happy to discuss politics with you. Just in the proper forum--as has been repeatedly been requested by Erik.

Yeah, now I understand. If I go to mass and social distance, I am causing the virus to spike. If I get my hair cut in a building with 6 people in it, I am killing grandma . If I eat at a subway, I am reckless.
But thousands of rioting leftists, standing shoulder to shoulder and screaming about racism have no negative effect.
If you can't see the political agenda behind that story, I can't help you. You are beyond help.
