Great visit "out here" - I'm in my late 20's and that was a struggle for me too

If I’m getting it straight, it’s Louisianan for ‘out here’.

Some kids just play ball in California because they are military or for whatever reason but they have roots back East or in the South. I think that is why you see more California recruits ditching USC or any Pac-12 school to play at Ohio State, Alabama, Florida State, Oklahoma.

IST has a very annoying attitude. I pass on this guy. Not good for a team.

    Not in my experience.

Those programs have recently won a lot, and have a history of winning, a lot like SC does.

I've seen the best of them leave to specific schools in certain years because of a winning streak . . . and then stay when SC is on that same kind of streak.

It's like moths to a flame.

Good point. Who was the last San Diego project that panned out?

    Projects or prospects?

I'm going to throw out some great defenders like Zeke Moreno and Darrell Russell of the late 1990's.

And a guy named Reggie Bush worked out (on the field, anyway.)

CB Mozique McCurtis and TE Taylor McNamara were more recent good contributors.

Not a whole lot of them have become Trojans of late . . . but that doesn't mean the area hasn't produced some really good college and NFL players lately . . . like Kenny Stills and Tony Jefferson .

Let me guess, you've been reading the social media feeds?

You won't like anyone if you read their Twitter feed long enough.

And ...they know you and other fan bases are tuning in.

Don't get tweaked by them having fun.

Almost positive Mozique McCurtis was the CB who gave up that last TD to Stanford in 07'. I cannot, in good conscience call him a good contributor haha.

Crazy that we were all so high on Dillon Baxter from SD that year, while his buddies Stills and Jefferson went to Oklahoma and became absolute studs.

Yes, that was Zique on the coverage.

However, the real killer was giving up the 4th and 20 pass play on that final Stanford drive.

    Caught by Richard Sherman.

ITS is still going on a UT official visit. The Vols are pushing hard for him. Thats a little concerning.
