I hate to say it but with the lack of clear leadership and a plan to stop this coronavirus and its current rise in infections I believe the governor will shut down the state and there will not be any football this year.

Considering the complete lack of leadership and brain cells in the White House, I can see this happening too as States have to go it alone... even the latest news is that the Europe Union is about to announce a ban on all travel from the US due skyrocketing number of COVID-19 cases in this country... EU countries went through hell dealing with COVID deaths and shutting down their societies - and they definitely have zero desire to go backwards because of failed US national level leadership.

"There are people in every time and every land who want to stop history in its tracks. They fear the future, mistrust the present, and invoke the security of a comfortable past which, in fact, never existed." - Robert F. Kennedy

Yep, our lack of leadership in the White House who told everyone early about the proper way to treat this plandemic, yet was shut down by the “experts”, liberal media and politicians, who actually could have ended this crisis.

Keep believing what you’re told, be a good sheeple and wear that mask for the rest of your life!

Nonsense. If everyone just shoots up with Clorox we’ll be good to go.

Upfront apologies to Erik for the political nature of this post, but the vexing words of @PacTrojan necessitate someone letting him know that we do not appreciate or share his bizarre point of view. It's not OK with me, and many others here.

OK, so you brought up brain cells in the White House with your TDS. So, did you see yesterday's briefing? Your favorite socialist Dr. Fauci is still running the show and calling the shots, and so are all the professionals at CDC and the FDA and HHS and FEMA. Are they also evil capitalists? No one could objectively agree with you. And you really must get beyond this "Orange Man" bad routine, as he did the very best thing that could be done at the outset which was to seal off people from China, and your people gave him plenty of shit for that. Or is your problem that Pelosi didn't spend enough of your tax dollars on dystopic spendulous? You should be happy that the number of tests are "skyrocketing" and that the infection and death rates are decreasing, and that would not have happened were it not for the bad "Orange Man," YOUR PRESIDENT.

Speaking of going through hell with COVID-19, what do you think Cuomo did to vulnerable people in nursing homes who trusted him? Why do you leftists insist on destroying the United States? Wouldn't you rather earn a living than to live on the welfare state funded by the tax dollars of the capitalists you hate so much? I know. I am probably wasting my time communicating with you on this OT subject. The logic from the left is insane!

My apologies to Erik, I was talking about Folt and USC's Administration and how they are handling the Coronavirus and bring back the young men and women. I am concerned about their health and wellbeing, I also want to see football but not if it means one player gets sick and dies. Again, I am sorry if I worded the POST to make it look political.

You obviously did not do well in your political science class or just have reading comprehension problems. Pretty pathetic. Who is in charge of your state again? The Feds gave their guidance through the NIH and CDC and other "experts". The various governors are controlling their states and making these decisions. When Trump wanted to step in they threw a hissy fit. He said, if you remember, he would support them which he did as much as they would allow him to. We have 50 governors making 50 different decisions as to how to handle covid. It is called States rights. The Feds have only so much power over the inter-workings of each state. Despite the Fed not nationalizing things like marijuana or euthanasia, the states are allowed to make their decision on these things. Why would it be anything different here with the states management of the covid? Should we punish the rest of the states for California, NY, and few others' decisions?
