Went to both orange bowls against Iowa and Oklahoma. Iowa's were disgusting, obnoxious, foul mouthed, ugly 300 pounders, and that was just the women. The men were even worse! And they remained this way even when the game got out of hand.

Oklahoma's were ok. Maybe a little too optimistic at the pregame rallies, but we're quiet from the 3rd quarter on.

The best fans I've ever encountered was when we played Auburn for Matt's first start at QB. They were just incredibly nice in town, at the tailgates, in the stands, at the airport traveling home. And they knew their football! They were genuinely impressed with our team. They were curious about the state of football on the west coast, talked Xs & O's. And not just the dudes, the ladies knew their stuff too.

I know a lot of people like to shit on the SEC and south in general, but Auburn will always have a place in my heart after that experience.

Guess I have to go since my son-in-law is going to come get me in his Cirrus. I'd go just for the ride but would rather watch it on TV.

    Just the opposite.

When we beat them at home they were very nice. I kept hearing wait till you play us in the south. Well I went to that game, pre-game, just swell. After the first quarter there were a lot of shit talkers emerging. At half-time some woman who was dressed like she was going to prom screamed a bunch of fuck you's at my wife. I was ready to say something when security escorted her away. By the 3rd quarter they were outright hostile.

I loved crushing them. I will never go back.

Nebraska is far and away the greatest away-game I have ever been to. They were never in the game and were so nice and frankly in ...awe. I root for them to this day.

Friends went to the Auburn game and when they sat down, some lady yelled out "Welcome to the SEC!" During the 4th quarter, my friends turned around and saw her forlorn face, and yelled back "Welcome to the Pac 10!" But generally they said the fans were nice.

Cal's rooting section used to throw frozen oranges and grapefruits at our band. Hippie scum.

UCLA's fans have always been rude (jealousy is an ugly trait).

    Nebraska fans were nice.

Ohio State fans kind of chippy and some are rude.

Hawaii fans were great. They thanked us for coming to their game even though they knew Leinart and Bush were going to crush them. Couldn't have been more polite. (I still count all those games because I bought tickets. The NCAA never offered me a refund.)

Notre Dame fans are passionate, but much more tolerable than UCLA.

No comparison brother. The Oklahoma fans were very very cool and we got along great with them hanging out at the Clevelander in South Beach. Before the game, they were nice as could be. Even after the 55-19 blow out of their team by us they could not be nicer. I hung out with them for three nights in a row until like four in the morning! That is the difference between a team with fans who have been there before and a team that has not. Iowa fans were total A-holes before and after and everywhere we ran into them in Miami.

After attending the last one, I wouldn’t bother going down there ever again a TV is a better experience than being in that stadium.

to build on this, during the national title game in 2010, Oregon fans said that Auburn fans were very nice to them, before, during and after the game. They didn't say the same for Kansas St fans in 2012 though.

Oregon fans are the worst hands down.

Usc is going to roll Iowa. They don't have the offense to exploit or weaknesses on D and they don't have the secondary to stop our passing attachknor the line to stop our hopefully healthy running game. Helton always kicks at least one field goal, 52-28 Trojans.

I could not believe what a steaming pile of crap Iowa fans were. I was at that 2003 Orange Bowl, and I still cant believe what a bag of shit Iowa fans were. I saw numerous T-Shirts that said USC Sucks Cock...one my fraternity brother shredded right off the back of a reasonably big Iowa fan before he kicked the shit out of the Iowa guy....statute of limitations have expired by now, it was awesome!

During the game I saw a 70 year old couple (SC fans) totally harrassed and SHOVED by a group of at least 10 Iowa fans, as another 20 or so Iowa fans stood by and did nothing....the assault didnt stop till about 5 or 6 SC guys came into the pile and started to mix it up with the Iowa turds, joined in with another 10 or so that joined in. Way to beat up on old people Iowa fans.

The taunts inside the stadium and numerous fights subsided by halftime when SC started to destroy those losers.

Iowa is BY FAR the biggest pile of shit fan base I have ever seen

That's weird, could have sworn FlyFish always extolls the virtues of Iowans in Ames and what a pleasant environment it is. Are ISU and UI really that different in fanbase?

Who'd have thunk fans from a nothing-flyover state would be so crass, or that Nebraska and Iowa could be so different? Wonder how it got that way?
