They lost a lot of guys this past year. I think they will definitely be tough, but even pre-game most folks thought this might be the toughest game in the South.

 

Well, that last two minutes was some sweet shit...

 

That was like a Biden election. We trailed the whole way and somehow won. It looks like from the celebrations on the streets that the virus is over. So real fans at the next game now that the election is over? I actually thought the fake crowd noise was louder than most of our home games.

 

I'm getting tired of seeing Clemson winning every year for sure... But there is no way I'm going to root for Notre Dame to be the one to take them down. :)

 

I'm glad we won, of course, but I just have to laugh aloud at those folks who seriously think we should be a playoff team if we somehow get to 7-0.

Relax, I doubt we even get to 6-0.

 

We have one of the best receiving teams in the country and after the first quarter scarcely ever attempted throwing it long even though ASU had an untested secondary - especially after JJ was out. Have to do that to loosen up the defense.

Taking Slovis much longer than usual to unload - receivers all covered? - no one getting separation?

I miss the old days when tv broadcasting crews use to show a wide shot so you could see what was happening with the entire defense once the ball was in play.

 

Maybe because we won the battle but are losing the war?

 

Actually there was enough time to get the ball back if we kicked the ball off to ASU and getting a 3 and out.

 

It's interesting that the fumbles were from dudes who really hadn't practiced that much due to injuries. I wonder how much not getting hit played into the fumbles? Clean those up and we win going away. I'll drink the Kool-aid for one more week.

Slovis was smart in not throwing the long ball against 2 deep zone.....but what Harrell should have done is start throwing to the Tight Ends down the seems to open up the deep ball...I don’t even know if he has those type plays in his playbook...

The SC coaches had no adjustments to a D-scheme that they have now seen for over a year or more. Playing deep and dropping 7 or 8 into zone. Very poor coaching. A luck win but still a win. I wonder what the odds are of recovering an onside kick and then scoring on a 4th and nine throw into double coverage? And then keeping ASU from moving into FG position? Pretty long. The O-line is a huge concern. ASU is not a physical team. Helton is the second most fortunate guy in America to benefit from the virus. Imagine if this O-line had played Bama. A 80-0 beatdown.

USC football chasing it’s tail since hiring crap coaches since 2009 ... how this buffoon, Gomer can still be around for 11 years is just a mind spinning fraud.

 

They actually moved the ball pretty well when they were patient. I think the turnovers after long drives were a killer and I think much of that was driven by the impatience of the "players." This needs to be coached up for sure.
