I cannot realistically see a scenario where the new OC comes in, and his #2 QB ends up being the PAC-12 FOY and getting placed on the bench. Actually, yes I can. Daniels is HCCH's guy, and Slovis is OCGH's guy. If HCCH wants to pull rank, then Daniels is going to be our starter. If HCCH lets OCGH run the show, Slovis is going to be our starter and Daniels is going to transfer out, because I do not see how he stays and sits behind someone who would be in the same class as him. gubo&palanka and Cardinal&Gold like this.

JT will see the field some and it's up to him whether to stay or go. I think Slovis is the starter for both HCCH and OCGH, he proved he is a great QB. gubo&palanka and Peete2Affholter like this.

That would be disastrous. Besides, if Daniels transfers out, he'll just sit behind whoever is the incumbent there... gubo&palanka likes this.

Since he won't be ready for spring he will have to demonstrate that he is healthy in the fall. Likely the back up will get some significant snaps in at least a game or two or even is he just stays healthy through the fall a coach is more likely to accept him as a transfer.
