D improvement due to more game experience but wonder if rusty Utes made it seem better.

    Well done.

Yes, their defense was definitely ahead of their offense, as you would expect from a team that hasn't played recently.

But credit to Helton and Orlando.

Loved seeing the draw play again but no-one except Harrell is satisfied with the running game.

Who are we saving the 2 back set for, ucla? The CFP? LOL

What happened to Carr? Kenon Christain provides a burst that is lacking since Ronald Jones.

#6 - continue keep EA #1 off the field even when he is healthy! He is liability out there ...running around like a slow chicken with his head cut off!!

Yes! And need to get these “speedsters”to the outside and stop running every play up the middle where our OL can’t drive anyone off the ball!

Carr was injured this week and Helton said he got dinged on that one carry to the point that they pulled him

Another article say's it best: USC is 3-0 but are UCLA and Colorado playing better? The answer is yes.

Trojans have given three teams in a row their first loss of the season. Each game pitted two undefeated PAC-12 South powerhouses against each other. Where was ESPN Gameday?

It looked to me like Carr got dinged up when he tried to block the DL charging at Slovis.

Helton said it was during a pass block. That would make sense.

I can't believe how brittle USC running backs are. We've had three games and half our RB's are out. Last year by the Oregon game weren't three of them out? And, we don't have tackling during practice?

If this team played Clemson, Notre lame, or Alabama right now or shot BYU. They'd get stomped.

They need to run behind Vera Tucker more.

And water is wet...this team got stomped by Iowa a few months ago. But they are improving. With the air raid and new D this team is only about one or two players away at most every position from being competitive with playoff teams.
