Does anybody know of anybody that died of COVID..

..that was not old, fat, diabetic, had heart/lung disease or a compromised immune system?

Personally I know zero people that died, maybe a few that tested positive and nobody that became ill or hospitalized.

We are still on lockdown because Cuomo stuffed thousands of seniors into nursing homes.

This is a political tool to punish us and serve whatever fucked up global agenda that they have. There is zero reason for increased measures. If anything we should be aggressively opening up. Especially in CA where we do not have harsh or long winters.

 

I have one friends father who died from complications, he was over 90 years old with a slew of underlying issues.

My wife’s cousin’s daughter died, she was 28 with no known medical problems or underlying conditions. She’s one of the very low percentile of those in that category that have died.

This does not excuse Newsome of unconstitutional suspension of our rights and freedoms, nor the destruction of businesses already reeling from earlier lockdowns.

I know several people who’ve had it. One who id 63 with diabetes. He was out two weeks. Most recovered in 10 days.

 

It won't be me. Wife has type 1 diabetes (the type where your pancreas shits the bed at a young age, so not a lifestyle thing), and I have high BP (definitely a lifestyle thing). If I'm being honest, I'm fat (5-9, 215). We won't let it take us. You can bank on that.

Have a friend early 50’s who is vegan (for some reason) who recovered in 10 days and said it’s nasty and you don’t want to get it.

Lots of college friends of my kids got it when they went to school in August and September. Minor two or three day setback and they were on their way.

We’re being taken for a ride IMO. That said, people who are vulnerable need to be very, very careful.

 

A little secret for everyone. Life is terminal, there's no cure. Your best bet is to get as much out of life as you can.

 

I know this guy at Bragg that jumped out of helicopter and his chute did not open. He died of covid before he hit the ground.

A diverse group... some older in their 60’s. Some younger in their 40’s in good shape.
What I have taken from this is .... we all have to do what we think is best for our families at this point. We have several high risk people in our household so I’m staying put.... by choice. I don’t agree with shutting down everything if folks want to go out an live their lives I have no problem with that ... I guess I’ll just have to be careful with who I socialize with

 

I have not even met anyone who has had Covid, let alone died from it. Where I live it is way overblown. Besides myself, I have a many cohorts who have underlying conditions yet none have even had a relative or friend who Covid.

Known a few (less than 10) and those under 30 had symptoms for a few days but felt “off” for a couple weeks. Those between 30 and 50 had a bad cold with weird symptoms (loss of taste and smell) that lasted for a few days followed by general malaise for a week or so. I don’t know anybody over 50 who’ve had it.

 

Mostly network. Nobody in my direct circle thank God has died of Covid.
My next door neighbor did murder his mom becaUse he couldn’t get his normal visits from social services ..... so there is that....

 

I think that is my point. I find very few people that have a direct friend or relative. Its mostly a few degrees of separation. If more young healthy people were dying, more people would be outraged and scared of the disease as opposed to who is wearing masks and social distancing. I don't think there is a real fear of the disease...almost everybody is distancing to protect people because of these vague stories of people dying directly of COVID. Like you said yourself, its not about your fear of getting it, its about giving it to somebody else.

I am of the belief that society has been scammed.
