The day that a college football coach makes as much as a college professor then we can look at football players as student athletes again.

At this point when schools are paying $7 Million a year for a coach its obvious that college football is not really about the education anymore.

The sport has already changed. None of these schools care if these kids can read or write. They just want to have them bash their head together for 4 years and make money for the school.

If everyone except the players weren't making millions then it wouldn't be an issue. It would just be football. Sadly it isn't about football. It's about money. They are taking about waking college students up at 4 in the morning to play 9AM games so they can all make more money.

College football is a job. Many of these kids spend more time doing football related activities than going to class so why not get paid for making money for the school.

Let them make all the money they can while they have the opportunity. No one cares except those that are making all the money now, the schools and the NCAA.

The day when the government can require private organizations to adhere to their will is the day when we officially become a fascist state.

Except most of these institutions are not private organizations. They are tax payer and government funded public universities.

You mean all those government laws such as no discrimination, no slavery, overtime pay, etc etc. You know you argument has no merit so you are now falling off the deep end.

There is overwhelming support that these players be able to make money from their own ability.
