Doubt any decision is made based of one game.

McCoy is a different young man than most recruits

What I have heard he is a highly mature student athlete

Still he wants to play in the NFL.
    Whatever fits with him.

Texas said that he could possibly play both sides of the field at first.
Todd Orlando is one of the best LB coach/DC's in the game.

There is a familiarity factor with USC coming from Mater Dei so unless Texas or Washington completely impresses him he will be going to SC

Similar to the St Brown situation last year.
I think the biggest factor for him was JT Daniels
I thought ND had him. Every player has different factors on their decision.

For McCoy the game could be one.

[QUOTE="For McCoy the game could be one.[/QUOTE]

That just doesn’t make any sense. If JT is his biggest factor then it wouldn’t be decided by 1 flipping game.

He’s known JT most of his football career. One game isn’t going to decide squat. If anything, if we lose, he’d say to himself “well if I were in there...” X would happen

JT will be doing some serious recruiting in this class, especially at the WR, position. I love Vaughns and Pittman but those weren’t his chosen guys. Amon ra, bru, and Kyle ford are. Just wait folks.

I do not know Bru McCoy's relationship with JT Daniels besides they played at the same high school.
Don't know if McCoy transfered in later in his career.
The statement was that with St Brown last year his relationship with Daniels was the determining factor.

    With McCoy no one knows.
I do know he is very close with DeGabriel Floyd. McCoy's recruitment couldn't have happen without Floyd.

Maybe McCoy is recruiting Floyd back to SC.

If Floyd would stay home it would be UCLA
You have to understand his story.
Maybe McCoy is a slient commitment but I have not seen the signs.
Most silent commitments will commit to the school and then work the other commitments.
Staying uncommitted makes his recruiting pitch useless.

I’m sure he saw JT and St Brown connect with deep passes. If he’s going to play WR he’s probably going to SC. He knows JT will get him the ball

If he wants to play QB then USC is the wrong offense for a dual-threat QB. Texas showed he can be more productive in their offense as a runner and passer.

Bru plays WR and DE/LB not QB

    Bru McCoy is a WR/LB.
    The QB is Bryce Young.
Texas was interested in him but Texas doesn't give the starting position to QB anymore.
Not saying SC does but at Texas he will have to compete with Preston Stone who is one year younger but is a much better prospect.
The possible 2021 class #1 player.

Texas definitely wants McCoy but as a LB more than a WR.

I don't think anything changed with McCoy.

He says he has a high interest in Texas. That was known because he used a OV on them.

Hung around Trey Sanders for most of his time in Austin.

Said he is visiting Washington next week then USC and Alabama later in the season.

Who is the 5th? Don't know.
    Probably Oregon or UCLA.

    Think he stays home.

Wow that is bold for someone who wasn't even in the game. Class of 2019 SC recruits won't forget that for sure

Floyd is an alpha. He is vocal , brash and aggressive.
Everything you want in a LB.
He is happy he found a home in Austin. A lot of these recruits act like they are apart of the team already.
This is why many committed to Texas. Herman makes every recruit feel like they are already playing at UT.

Nothing wrong with it. Let the kid speak his mind.

Well, I happened to see Bru McCoy and his parents as they were boarding the same plane as me tobreturn to LA from Austin. I didn’t say anything as I was wearing my Trojan gear and already had a sour look on my face. I can tell you that he already looks like a college football player. Also, I saw his dad receive a call (guessing from HELTON) and his dad handed the phone over to Bru with a look on his face like “we should be polite and take the call but, after watching yesterday’s game, this is a waste of time). Just my take. Really hope we somehow turn things around and that Bru ends up a Trojan.

    McCoy- USC
    Washington
    Texas
    Alabama

    Sanders
    Florida
    Alabama
    Texas

Maybe Sanders is a Bama silent commit. Supposedly Sanders and McCoy hung out the entire game.
But Sanders has a GF in Dallas and has stuck with Texas as one of his three choices.

This twitter post makes you wonder what is up with both players.

that actually sounds like a but hurt commit...being pretty dramatic. TX lead for basically a bit over a half, and didn't really take control of the game till mid-way through 3rd. Floyd is pissed off, SC signed so many LB's last year and he felt they weren't honest with him. Truth be known, kid wanted to go to SC bad, may still end up there. The depth chart thing was a big issue for him.
