As I mentioned many a times before, If Helton struggled and is struggling with 4 and 5 stars, and way the recruitg is looking, expected, how would he fair with 2 and 3 stars. Need I answer. Any body with little common sense would know that helton has to go if you want to compete at the elite level. Nice guy, but not a head coach of blue blood program.

FFS you're beating a dead horse, preaching to the choir, Captain Obvious etc. Only a handful of apologists exist and they either don't actually watch the games or aren't aware of Helton's record on the road, against ranked teams etc. By now we all get it - Helton's a nice guy whose teams are soft, commit the same mind-boggling penalties year after year, can't compete against the big boys and on and on. So yeah, you're beating a dead horse and its name is Traveler (until the school changes its name due to the PC culture, but I digress).

Where have you been for the past two years? Try to come up with a thread that hasn't been discussed 450 times since Helton became HC.

What’s to worry about. We’re 63rd in recruiting rankings. Can’t see how that could possibly be a problem down the road.

I disagree this thread hasn't been discussed enough. It needs to be kept on discussing until the clown pretending to be coach is let go. 4 and 3 with that talent, or talent that's been sitting who should have been playing, come on.

This horse has got to be paste by now.

But....I have the sneaking suspicion that if Helton manages to finish 7-5, which means he'll have gone 4-2 down the stretch, he will keep his job, particularly if he manages to beat the Bruins this year.

If SC ends up at 7 and 5, and Helton is retained, they will deserve the empty Coli next year. I cannot see a new AD hitching his wagon to him at all. The only way an AD would do that, in my opinion, is if we make the Rose Bowl (by earning it) or a major New Years Bowl

I can’t imagine him being retained with 7-5 season following a losing season. Especially not with a new AD. If that happened, we hired the wrong AD.

If that happens I don't think President Folt will be walking the parking lot next season! She will probably hide out in the Tower!

Not to beat a dead horse but, Clancy produces the most inconsistent defenses.

Not to beat a dead horse but, Baxter's special teams aren't so special, and he doesn't nearly deliver results commensurate w/ his pay and his coaching pedigree.

Not to beat a dead horse but, our Strenght & Condition is still lacking. With reports of Stepp always being gassed, Rector looking like he has cement blocks on his feet and the million injuries this season. We don't "look" like the top teams.

Not to beat a dead horse but, Sark was a really bad hire!

Not to beat a dead horse, but...

Tonight’s game will come down to situational mastery and physical beats, followed by an intensive film session

Do you think helton meat would taste better than sarkisian meat? Helton is probably more marbled, but sarkisian is like kobe beef, full of alcohol and massaged regularly. Plus his meat would make a hell of a gyro.
