I agree with your forecast which means no Pac-12 south this year. But we also have games that are not supposed to be "trap games," like going up to Strawberry Canyon is even a trap game now. But even 5-0 Colorado at home is going to be tough unless something drastic happened at practice these past couple weeks. All things considered 8-4 isn't too bad if you compare us to past teams in similar circumstances, except that we have vastly better talent this time. Unfortunately 7-5 isn't out of the question and Hellton cannot survive that without making some Swannie mandated changes if this happens. This has the feeling of Larry Smith or Ted Tollner with Pete Carroll talent right now.

I agree, losing to UCLA this season will be the death knell for this program, especially if Swann does nothing during the off season.

Disagree. If we go 8-4, losing to one of the rivals, HCCH is back for 2019 . No doubt about it.

The only good team left to play is ND. Everybody else suck, or average. There's no other team left that SC shouldn't beat. If Clay loses to ND and one other Pac 12 team, he should not be coaching at SC next year.

The PAC isn't getting any easier and "freshman" at QB at this point is not an excuse anymore. No one on the schedule other than ND have the athletes to run with SC. I don't even think they do as it is. I'll take SC at home.

The ONLY team left on our schedule that we won't be favored is ND.

If we win every other game and lose to ND, that should be about right.
If we lose one of those games AND beat ND, then I will take that for sure.

Lose one or more AND lose to ND, then the season is not good at all.
ND is the only team left on our schedule that is really any good.

Have you watched Utah and Colorado? San Diego is better than either.

I'm sticking with my 8-4 regular season prediction. CU game game might be ugly but we'll win.

Beating UCLA and ND are requirements. If the coaching staff gets their shit together we might play spoilers to ND. That would be freakin awesome.

No. Anything less than an unbeaten season and National Championship every single year is simply unacceptable and not considered a successful season.

At this point the only team we’re beating is ourselves and at this current rate we could lose to those cross town knuckleheads and anybody else . this team needs to focus, the coaching staff needs to get off the pot and light a fire under the steam otherwise it’s going to be a real failure of the season

Based on what is happening at Westwood High, Expect Chippie to throw everything at us in November at the Rose bowl. Chippie is not a USC fan Hence the UGLY HC gig he has. This will be their Bowl game hands down and try to win LA in 2018.

This and this some more. In fact, I think USC fans shouldn't settle for just dominating COLLEGE football - we should petition the NFL to let our guys play against pros.

And once there, we shouldn't be satisfied with anything less than Lombardi Trophies year after year.

The odd year where we win the Super Bowl, but only by a score or two, will be acceptable, but we should strive for winning the Super Bowl by a minimum of 28 points every year.

Maybe but we should be. They have beet exactly 1 team so far, Stanford. And that is a Stanford team that was without their best offensive player and looked like they lost the game before the first whistle.
