Agree. If double covered, do NOT throw it. Eat it or take an endzone shot or live for the next play. Against Furd he didnt make Stupid Freshman mistakes. Today he looked like a FR.

 

Stupid coaches and stupid players = a sh*tty football team.

 

Seems like we gave up on air raid after first quarter. Amon Ra having just one catch for 4 yards is ridiculous.

First drive was beautiful. But coaches lost confidence in freshman QB after the 2 interceptions.

 

Why do most Air Raid offenses seemingly throw it all over the park, with great pressure on the backpedaling D to cover and recover? 12-18 yd. throws dicing up the defense. Boom....boom...boom....TD!

We are so passive, with a gaggle of 3-7 yd. outs and curls. Where is our spacing and hitting WRs on the run?

I really don’t see how a typical defense has enough DBs and cover LBs to cover Pittman, Vaughns, St.Brown, Jones, 6’4” London, 6’3” McClain, Carr, Malepeai, and 6’5” Falo.

Why so conservative.....against BYU?

We just drop to the level of our opponents. We don’t exert our will. Dominate. We’re weak. Again.

Honestly kinda looked like last years offense to me

 

Last play in OT Slovis looked like a true frosh. 15 had 3 guys on him and wasn't at the first down market. That throw should never had been made. Sad

Two BYU players had tight coverage on Pittman on that last play. Why throw into traffic or tight window?

On 3rd & 6, take a shot at the end zone. If incomplete, then kick a FG.
