    It's looking like Oklahoma, maybe that's why the staff made another offer in the class.
    When was the last time USC got the top overall QB in the state of California?
    Oh I forgot about J.T. Daniels....
    The one position that California can argue that they turn out the best talent above all states is QB.
    So once in a decade???
    However from 2013 to 2022, USC has got the top QB from Washington (M. Browne) and Arizona (D. Brown).

    This move does not make any sense UNLESS he ends up reclassifying to the 2022 class and coming in as an EE in December of 2021.

    Aside from that happening, I do not see a commitment so early being so concrete.

    Yes it could, the same positive effect, could turn into a quick negative if Nelson were to decommit and some of those OL/RB/WR/TE commits looking forward to playing with him decide to leave as well.

    Darnold = CA
    Slovis = AZ
    Dart = Utah
    Moss = CA
    It's a mixed bag

    Darnold wasn't the top rated QB in CA. while in high school.

    As a matter of fact only one of the 4 you listed was the top qb in his state.
    Dart
