Coaches earn money in rivalry games

LOS ANGELES – Multi-millionaire college football coaches Steve Sarkisian and Brian Kelly are paid the big bucks to produce the big results.

As the 2014 regular season comes to a close for two storied programs, the football teams of Sarkisian and Kelly are laboring.

Notre Dame’s Kelly, the mucho dinero coach from South Bend, has watched his team lose its past three games in a row and four of the past five, some of the excruciatingly painful variety.

As for Sarkisian, the Southern California native who like Kelly gets paid handsomely at USC, he has watched….
