NCAA rules prohibit coaches from commenting directly about recruits until they are officially signed to the schools, but those rules don't say anything about limiting social media celebrations that don't mention a recruit specifically, but may or may not be posted around the time a commitment is announced.

That was the case Wednesday afternoon, when four-star defensive athlete Anthony Beavers announced his commitment to USC, and it just so happened to coincide with a flurry of social media celebrations from the Trojans coaches and staffers.

It's one of the things Director of Player Personnel Spencer Harris spoke about in breaking down USC's focus on the recruiting trail and why there is such a feeling of positivity from the coaches. This staff is going to be connected and they are going to be visible when it comes to recruiting hard, and celebrating those wins.

Safeties coach Craig Naivar, who likely will be able to utilize the 6-foot-1, 195-pound Beavers (Harbor City, Calif./Narbonne) was in on the celebration and hinted at his belief that this could be a commitment that leads to several more.

Cornerbacks coach Donte Williams has now helped gain two commitments from Beavers - one while he was coaching at Oregon, and now at USC.

Defensive coordinator Todd Orlando used an LA-centric celebration to show USC's commitment to keeping Los Angeles area prospects home.

Head coach Clay Helton has settled on this clip to help announce commitments.

USC Director of Scouting and Recruiting Strategy Trey Johnson got a little creative, as he gave credit to Naivar and Williams.

And the offensive coaches were in on the celebration as well, including offensive line coach Tim Drevno, tight ends coach John David Baker and offensive coordinator Graham Harrell.

Offensive quality control analyst Steve Murillo went with an Adoree' Jackson celebration.

And USC graduate assistant Viane Talamaivao went with a couple of gifs, crediting the two defensive back coaches.

It was also noticeable how active 2021 running back commitment Brandon Campbell (Katy, Texas/Katy) has been in recruiting fellow USC targets. All the way out in Texas, he has become a recruiting leader for this class, and he's likely about to get a lot more help in Beavers.
