  1. Record-breaking night for Cody Kessler and JuJu Smith-Schuster
Kessler finished with a career-high 410 passing yards on 26-of-31 passing with three touchdowns. Of his five incompletions, two of the targeted receivers were tripped during their routes, one pass was tipped at the line and one was dropped. The other miss came on a deep ball that he threw while scrambling. USC coach Steve Sarkisian praised Kessler’s decision-making and his accuracy, after the quarterback focused on his footwork in practice this week. Smith-Schuster was Kessler’s favorite target, establishing career highs with 10 catches for 192 yards, including two touchdowns on the night. Click here to read the full story at the ESPN USC blog
