The Trojans were back to work on Tuesday with preparations to face Cal, and it’s clear that injuries remain an issue following a tough game against Texas.

The Trojans get ready to head on the road for the first time this year and there will be a familiar face leading the Cal Golden Bears in former USC defensive coordinator Justin Wilcox, and give Wilcox credit for having the Bears in the position of being 3-0 in his first season as a head coach.

Final Thoughts: Texas review

At the end of the day, what I’m taking away from this game is the way the Trojans responded to adversity at the end of the first half, the end of regulation, and in the overtime periods. On a night when they didn’t have their best stuff, the Trojans found a way to win, and the fact that it happened in that style, against that team, just made it all the more special.
