USC targets in action: Week Zero numbers

A look at the stats some USC recruits recorded in their games this past weekend

 

Class of 2017

 

* RB Stephen Carr (Fontana, Calif./Summit) – USC commit

– Had 24 carries for 158 yards and one touchdown, and also caught four passes for 27 yards in a 22-14 victory over Rancho Cucamonga (Calif.) Etiwanda.

 

* DE Hunter Echols (Los Angeles, Calif./Cathedral) – USC commit

– Compiled five tackles with three tackles-for-loss including one sack, as well as one forced fumble in a 40-15 victory over Santa Fe Springs (Calif.) Santa Fe.

 

* CB Wylan Free (Lynwood, Calif./Lynwood) – USC commit

– Compiled 8 tackles (4 solo) and one interception on defense, and he also had six carries for 25 yards and two touchdowns on offense in a 40-6 victory over Long Beach (Calif.) Millikan.

 

* TE Erik Krommenhoek (Danville, Calif./Monte Vista) – USC commit

– Caught two passes for 24 yards and one touchdown in a 49-7 victory over Antioch (Calif.) Deer Valley.

 

* DL James Lynch (Round Rock, Texas/Round Rock) – USC commit

– Had two tackles and two hurries on defense, and he also caught an eight-yard touchdown pass on offense in a 41-35 victory over Schertz (Texas) Clemens.

 

* WR Marlon Williams (Mobile, Ala./McGill-Toolen) – USC commit

– Had six catches for 126 yards and two touchdowns in a 39-36 victory over Mobile (Calif.) Davidson.

 

* S Bubba Bolden (Las Vegas, Nev./Bishop Gorman)

– Compiled three tackles (two solo) with one sack and one interception in a 44-14 victory over Cedar Hill (Texas).

 

* WR Jamire Calvin (Los Angeles, Calif./Cathedral)

– Had eight receptions for 231 yards and one touchdown in the victory over Santa Fe.

 

* RB Najee Harris (Antioch, Calif./Antioch) – Alabama commit

– Had 10 carries for 219 yards and three touchdowns, and he also caught a 35-yard touchdown pass in a 67-38 victory over Stockton (Calif.) Lincoln.

 

* RB Sione Heimuli-Lund (Salt Lake City, Utah/Brighton) – Stanford commit

– Had 19 carries for 232 yards, and one reception for 14 yards in a 35-7 loss to Plain City (Utah) Fremont.

 

* WR Joseph Lewis (Los Angeles, Calif./Hawkins)

– Caught a 39-yard touchdown pass and also made an impact on defense at safety in a 27-6 victory over Los Angeles (Calif.) Hamilton.

 

* DL Greg Rogers (Las Vegas, Nev./Arbor View)

– Compiled five tackles (four solo) with three tackles-for-loss in a 27-23 loss to Henderson (Nev.) Liberty.

 

Class of 2018

 

* LB Bo Calvert (Westlake Village, Calif./Oaks Christian) – USC commit

– Was a force on defense and also scored a touchdown off a blocked punt in a 65-55 victory over Chaminade.

 

* QB Matt Corral (Westlake Village, Calif./Oaks Christian) – USC commit

– Completed 17 of 35 passes for 407 yards and three touchdowns with two interceptions, and he also rushed for 59 yards and one more score in the victory over Chaminade.

 

* LB Raymond Scott (Harbor City, Calif./Narbonne) – USC commit

– Had three solo tackles and a pass deflection in a 34-12 victory over Gardena (Calif.) Serra.

 

* LB Palaie Gaoteote (Las Vegas, Nev./Bishop Gorman)

– Racked up nine tackles (five solo) with 2.5 tackles-for-loss including one sack in the victory over Cedar Hill.

 

* LB Salua Masina (Salt Lake City, Utah/Brighton)

– Had eight tackles (four solo) in the loss to Plain City.

 

* TE Camren McDonald (Long Beach, Calif./Poly)

– Had four receptions for 28 yards and one touchdown in a 27-20 victory over Los Alamitos (Calif.).

 

* RB T.J. Pledger (West Hills, Calif./Chaminade)

– Had 20 carries for 90 yards and three touchdowns, and he also caught two passes for 34 yards in the loss to Oaks Christian.

 

* LB Merlin Robertson (Gardena, Calif./Serra)

– Compiled nine tackles (five solo) with three tackles-for-loss including ½ a sack in the loss to Narbonne.

 

Class of 2019

 

* QB JT Daniels (Santa Ana, Calif./Mater Dei)

– Completed 19 of 22 passes for 373 yards and six touchdowns in a 63-14 victory over La Puente (Calif.) Bishop Amat.
