Twitter updates from practice

The Trojans held a shoulder pads and shorts practice on Tuesday in preparation of the first day in full pads on Wednesday. USC coach Steve Sarkisian praised the run game, particularly the performance from Tre Madden, who continues to look good through the early days of camp. There was also a highlight play from receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster, who caught a long pass and absorbed a big hit from Kevon Seymour and Chris Hawkins before going into the end zone.

We also saw Claude Pelon move into the starting line-up at defensive end, he had been working with the 2nd unit while Cody Temple ran with the 1’s early in camp.
