Trojans In Must-Rebound Situation

by Greg Katz LOS ANGELES -- The last time the USC Trojans visited Arizona State, in 2013, the Men of Troy were sent back to the City of Angels with a devastating 62-41 loss, which also resulted in coach Lane Kiffin being fired in the wee hours of Sunday morning on the tarmac at Los Angeles International Airport. On Saturday, the No. 19 USC Trojans (2-1, 0-1 Pac-12) return to Tempe amid new turmoil, after last weekend’s 41-31 upset loss to No. 21 Stanford, in what was the Pac-12 opener for both clubs. “We have a tough road ahead next week against ASU,” said Trojans senior quarterback Cody Kessler after the Stanford loss. “This is the turning point in the season that can define us.
