Another day, another lineman commitment for the USC Trojans.

USC entered June 16 without a single commitment from a lineman in the 2020 recruiting class. A little more than a week later, the Trojans have five linemen committed, after landing their third along the offensive line, as Andres Dewerk (Los Gatos, Calif./Los Gatos) announced his commitment.

Dewerk joins Joey Wright (Reno, Nev./Bishop Manogue) and Andrew Milek (Phoenix/Brophy Prep) as offensive tackle commits in this class, as the Trojans look to load up along the offensive line with big numbers and big prospects. Dewerk checks in at 6-foot-7, 297 pounds, while Wright is 6-foot-6, 300 pounds, and Milek is 6-foot-6, 295 pounds.

Like the previous two commitments, Dewerk brings athleticism along with his size and did enough to impress USC offensive line coach Tim Drevno at the Trojans' elite camps earlier this month.

Again like the other offensive line commitments, Dewerk has had a nice spring on the recruiting trail, gaining momentum and picking up interest. He holds offers from Arizona, Colorado, Nebraska, UCLA, Washington State and others.

He is the ninth commitment for USC in the 2020 class, joining quarterback Bryce Young (Santa Ana, Calif./Mater Dei), wide receiver Josh Jackson (Harbor City, Calif./Narbonne), tight end Jack Yary (Murrieta, Calif./Murrieta Valley), defensive tackle Kobe Pepe (Bellflower, Calif./St. John Bosco), defensive end Kyle Juergens (San Juan Capistrano, Calif./St. Margaret's), and kicker Parker Lewis (Scottsdale, Ariz./Saguaro), as well as the other two tackles..
