Opportunity is there for the Trojans

It was a good news, bad news scenario for the Trojans on Saturday night.

The good news was the Arizona Wildcats victory over Utah, which gave the Utes a pair of conference losses and paved the way for the Trojans to control their own destiny in terms of a Pac-12 South title.

The math at this point is fairly simple, if USC wins against Oregon and UCLA, they will win the South division and earn their first ever berth in the conference championship game. For all the adversity this team has seen, that was the No. 1 pre-season goal and it is still in reach.
