The Obvious: The Trojans signed quarterback JT Daniels (6-3,205) from Santa Ana, Calif. (Mater Dei High).

The Not So Obvious: JT wore No. 18 at Mater Dei, a Trojan number currently worn by walk-on QB Thomas Fitts. Did you know that prominent Mater Dei alumni include footballers Matt Leinart, John Huarte, Matt Barkley, Thomas Duarte, Matt Grootegoed, and Khaled Holmes, basketballer Stanley Johnson, and Jessica Bowlin, winner of season 5 of The Bachelor.

The Obvious: The Trojans signed center Justin Dedich (6-2, 290) from Temecula, Calif. (Chaparral High).

The Not So Obvious: Justin wore No. 57 at Chaparral, a Trojan number currently available. Did you know that prominent Chaparral alumni include footballers Tyler Hansen and Talmadge Jackson lll, basketball players Allen Craig and Shane Peterson, and Olympic track cyclist Sarah Hammer.

The Obvious: The Trojans signed offensive tackle Liam Douglass (6-5, 285) from Studio City, Calif. (Harvard Westlake High).

The Not So Obvious: Liam wore No. 68 at Harvard Westlake, a Trojan number currently worn by OL Alijah Tucker. Did you know that prominent Harvard Westlake alumni include football players Jonathan Martin, Eric Swoop, basketball players Jarron and Jason Collins, Alex Stepheson, baseball players Brennan Boesch, Max Fried, Lucas Giolito, Jack Flaherty, Josh Satin, Nik Turley, actors and actresses Candice Bergen, Jamie Lee Curtis, Dominique Dunn, Douglas Fairbanks Jr., Mark Harmon, June Lockhart, Jon Lovitz, Mirna Loy, Elizabeth Montgomery, Tori Spelling, and Shirley Temple, and Governor Gray Davis, former White House Chief of Staff H.R. The Not So Obvious: Palaie wore No. 10 at Bishop Gorman, a Trojan number currently worn by LB John Houston Jr. Did you know that prominent Bishop Gorman alumni include footballers David Humm, Xavier Grimble, Alize’ Jones, Bubba Bolden, and Tate Martell, baseball player Joey Gallo, track star Randall Cunningham ll, Chairman of Station Casinos Frank Fertitta lll, and Governor Bob Miller.

The Obvious: The Trojans signed corner Olaijah Griffin (6-0, 180) from Mission Viejo, Calif. (Mission Viejo High).

The Not So Obvious: Olaijah wore No. 2 at Mission Viejo, a Trojan number currently worn by safety Bubba Bolden. Did you know that prominent Mission Viejo alumni include footballers Jordan Palmer, Collin Ashton, Jed Collins, Drew Radovich, Nick Reed, Mark Sanchez, Jeff Baca, and Tre Madden, golfer Mark O’Mera, rock and roll drummer Matt Sorum, and CNN correspondent Brianna Keilar.

The Obvious: The Trojans signed athlete Talanoa Hufanga (6-1, 215) from Corvallis, Oregon (Crescent Valley High).

The Not So Obvious: Talanoa wore No. 15 at Crescent Valley, a Trojan number currently worn by WR/CB Keyshawn “Pie” Young. Did you know that Crescent Valley High, also known as CV, is a four-year public secondary school in Corvallis in a rural location north of the city and is one of the two traditional high schools of the Corvallis School District. Notable alumni include PGA tour professional Robert Garrigus (class of 1995), who led the PGA tour in driving distance from 2009-2010.

The Obvious: The Trojans signed outside linebacker Kana’i Mauga (6-2, 220) from Waianae, Hawaii (Waianae High).

The Not So Obvious: Kana’i wore No. 26 at Waianae, a Trojan number currently available. Did you know that prominent Waianae alumni include football player Kurt Gouveia, MMA fighter Max Holloway, sumo wrestler Fiamalu Penitani, and singer Israel Kamakawiwo’ole.

The Obvious: The Trojans signed defensive end Abdul-Malik McClain (6-4, 230) from San Juan Capistrano, Calif. (J Serra Catholic High).

The Not So Obvious: Abdul-Malik wore No. 3 at J Serra, a Trojan number currently retired. Did you know that prominent J Serra alumni include football player Dante Pettis, baseball player Austin Hedges, daughter of Albert ll, Price of Monaco, Jazmin Grace Grimaldi, and first overall selection in the 2017 Major League Baseball draft, Royce Lewis.

The Obvious: The Trojans signed outside linebacker Raymond Scott (6-2, 220), from Harbor City, Calif. (Narbonne High).

The Not So Obvious: Raymond wore No. 22 at Narbonne, a Trojan number currently worn by CB Je’Quari Godfrey. Did you know that prominent Narbonne alumni include football players Antwan Applewhite, Nnamdi Asomygha, Major Culbert, Dashon Goldson, Patrick Goodpaster, Tom Graham, Roy Lewis, Brandon Manumaleuna, Marcus O’Keith, and Jonathan McKenzi Smith, WNBA basketball player Lisa Willis, Loree Moore, and Ebony Hoffman, baseball players Jeff Dedmon and Bobby Prooks,  actor James Lesure, KABC-TV Marc Brown, singer B.B. The Obvious: The Trojans signed running back Markese Stepp (6-0, 230) from Indianapolis, Indiana (Cathedral High).

The Not So Obvious: Markese wore No. 30 at Cathedral, and he recently make it public through his twitter than he will also wear No. 30 for the Trojans. Did you know that prominent Cathedral alumni include football players Blaine Bishop, Mark Clayton, Ted Karras, Mo Gardner Mathias Kiwanuka, and Jeremy Trueblood, basketball player Ken Barlow, baseball players Jake Fox, Tommy Hunter, Dillon Peters, and Roy Oyler, and Mayor of Indianapolis Gregory A. Ballard,

The Obvious: The Trojans signed corner Isaac Taylor-Stuart (6-2, 190) from La Mesa, Calif. (Helix High).
