Justin Davis ready for the throne room

The door to the throne room swings open, and there is Justin Davis, eager for the chance to come swiveling his way through.
He understands the position that has just opened up is one of the more exalted in all of sports. Because of its rich history and tradition, the tailback at USC can only be compared to, oh, the quarterback of the Green Bay Packers, the center fielder of the New York Yankees or, at least until recently, the center for the Los Angeles Lakers.
