For Helton to be successful he'd have to do something VERY FEW coaches can do, completely turn things around. I don't think he has it in him. I think people here are apathetic because of 13-12 and the Holiday Bowl Beatdown with Bama on tap. You can get why a DC even someone of substance might still fail here.

He would also have to accept practicing his D against an Air Raid style offense week in and week out. So basically someone that would not be too worried about hurting his reputation when he gets hammered by physical teams (well, the 2-3 that we play every year).
