2-3 is certainly more doable than a full year. I guess my question would be, why was USC so specific to say 2019, rather than at the end of the current semester?

I think he's good enough now, no doubt. I'm questioning whether, IF, he goes a full year, he'd still be at the same level. Even one semester off could be an issue although lots of JC kids manage just fine.

 

Hopefully this means that Bolden and the other safeties are looking really good out there.

I’ve been on these boards for 15 years and no one has ever seen or heard me say anything about anyone’s Family although I’ve had plenty bad things said about mine. It is a hard and fast rule with me. No one believes you

As I mentioned last year, I thought this kinda shit was coming to this board, and it has.
We had much disagreement here before and snide backhand verbal slaps but we never had personal fights like this.
One more time... the guy who gets the last word in these kind of things is almost always the loser.

 

How about him insulting a poster's Christian belief in God? What was it he use to say? Something about comparing a belief in God to believing in the Easter Bunny or Santa Claus.

 

Pretty sure it was the flying spaghetti monster but IIRC, the comments were in general. I don't recall him going after any poster specifically regarding their beliefs but I could be wrong.

I don't get bothered by those types of comments. We all have to meet our maker at some point....or not.

 

If you notice, once again, it was Scotty who inserted himself into a thread that was very cordial and pretty civil for the most part.

He's not wrong though. It is like believing in the Easter bunny, when we're all on a planet in space and that's it. The sooner people get that through their head, the sooner we advance as a society.

If anything be spiritual not biblical. I mean the fact that people take serious offense to that over a more rational issue is disturbing. But that's just me.

That's the thing most people's faith are weak as hell, it's why they go to confesses every other day. It's why people protect the churches and not human sanity.

 

I’ve never gone after any poster over their personal beliefs.
You’ve also seen me compliment some of the religious people on their knowledge of the Bible. Having read it three times “ a chapter a day” people like Sec 13, and Mindstorm and some of those other guys blow my mind with how much they know.

I describe myself as a hopeful atheist or a skeptical agnostic. If someone has an issue with that, good for them, has zero impact on how I live my day to day.
