Just read that Owens won the Brian Clay decathlon yesterday. He broke school record and, also, had world leading best total. Apparently, he is a true frosh. Tremendous accomplishment for such a young decathlete. Fight On!

He's also a very good hurdler, (13.6 range) and looks like a football player.

Wow. What a talent. Seems as though our recruiting is still on-point.

Seems to have the right mental fortitude as well, which is amazing! Won the event by passing the PAC-12 champion on the final stretch of the 1500M.

Having 7 PRs though in the 10 events makes me wonder if everything aligned just right for him to get that score.

I’m more inclined to think that he’s new to the DEC and will be seeing a lot of PRs in the near future.

I think that what he did at the Bryan Clay Invitational, along with what the other SC Men did at Mt. Sac, is a the reason why the Men vaulted to #8 in national rankings. If Randall Cunningham can come up to his previous norm of 7'5, both the Women and Men will be making some serious noise at the national meet. Fight On!

The men are a year away from being national contenders (IMO). Their performance in the field wasn’t very encouraging this past weekend.

He’ll probably be at the ncaas. You can over do it with decathlons if they are too close together.
