Good start. How did Kentucky end up with recruits good enough for a #5 ranking?

Anyone's best guess but maybe Calipari.

AT Florida. Dominating win. We look good! Lanier is a notch above.

if they can win the Bubly Invitational, I honestly don't see them facing a tough test till ucla in mid September

I don't like to look past anyone but this certainly looks likely. I can't get to a match until Oregon.

Well looks like I'll take full blame for the a 3-1 loss to UCF.

On to Louisville at 10 AM tomorrow.

    SC beats Louisville 3-0

don't know if anyone watched the game but in the 3rd set when the score is 23-18 there is a guy totally sleeping near the court. Thought that was a good non-match highlight

If anyone has a chance to catch Big 10 matches on ESPiN, Mick Haley is doing some commentating. I watched a match last weekend between Texas and somebody....Mick and Paul Sunderland. I don't care for his voice but there are few who understand the game like Mick and his observations are top notch.

Beats USD (San Diego) 3-2 in a tight game. Now 6-0-1

Outside hitter Botkin has been outstanding the few times I've seen her play. Great complement to Lanier on the other side. Can't believe Mick didn't play her much last year, even though she was just a freshman. Looks like she has the potential to be one of the top OH's in the nation.
