Rob Adolph...Great guy and a great athlete. ( Also a terrific baseball player). He managed the apartment complex I resided in and we all took away some great memories from those times. When he played it was always good news. We were sure to win. He played behind Pat H in the ‘70’s

    Willie Wood

Wood was the first African American quarterback for the entire Pacific-12 Conference (by whatever name known from time to time).

    He also played defense.

    Here's some pic's from 60 years ago.

4 images. Football -- University of Southern California Spring football scrimmage, 2 May 1958. Willie Woods; Harold Clayton; Ruben Tysell. Jensen negatives. (Sleeve reads: SP 12284).

Caption slip reads "Photographer: Jensen. Date: 1958-03-25 (?). Assignment: USC football scrimmage. J-82: Harold (RH) Red Clayton fumbles; #77 Ruben Tysell broke up play. J-9: #16 Willie Woods to Harold Clayton. J-10: Willie Woods, Q".

Not sure if the pictures are in the order provided by the caption slip.

The version where he pretty much had to carry the team for 2 seasons. Somehow I think Darnold would have done a lot better if he had the 2003-2005 team confidence, OLine and was able to simply hand the ball of to Bush and White.

    Both Matt's.
Barkley's leadership through a very challenging time was instrumental in keeping us on the map.
That he came back for his Senior year after a phenomenal Junior campaign deserves very special recognition.
One of my all time favorite Trojans.

And here I thought we didn't have much in common. JD is my 1a behind Rodney Peete.

He put up with a lot of crap for sure and conducted himself with the utmost integrity. A blue collar type of guy and worked hard and gave his all for USC football.
