@GarryP - Special teams and QB injury: With McGrath's groin injury he's obviously been struggling. USC has a scholarship place kicker in Michael Brown, why isn't Brown getting prepped to at least kick PATs or temporarily take over place kicking duties while Reid does kickoffs? Why risk further injury or slowing down McGrath's recovery? Is an injured McGrath still better than a healthy Brown?

Also, it's been reported that Fink went down with a knee sprain. Was Jalen Greene taking snaps or is Sears vulnerable to having his red shirt pulled off as Plan B if something happens to Sam? Does USC throw in a walk-on QB and hope for the best in a worse case scenario?

Brown suffered a knee injury against Stanford and is out for the season.

Here was Helton comment on Fink "Matty got fallen into yesterday, just got a knee sprain. He should be OK for Saturday. We held him today, but he should be good."

Thanks Garry! I was not aware of Brown being significantly injured. Good to hear that perhaps Matt Fink's injury is nat as bad as was reported. I am looking forward to another challenging game for USC. One thing this team is that it's not boring! Fight On!

If McGrath isn't healthier than he was last week I would rather see Budro handling all placekicks. He is very capable, as Garry has written.

Brown got hurt when he forgot he's a kicker and instead channeled his inner Soma Vainuku on a kick off.
