These days, that is the same as a national championship for SC baseball. Break out the non-alcoholic champagne for the kids.

Nevermind that stanford is 31-7 (15-3 in conference).

SC is 19-22-1. 14 games remain, must win nine to finish above .500. Stanford at home for 3 this weekend. At Oregon State for three to finish the season, 3 at Arizona, and 3 with the Ducks at home. Daunting task to finish 9-4 with that schedule. Then what? Hubbs contract is over at the end of the season. Never see Swann at Dedeaux. One regional since 2005, what a mess.

    Vandy is 34-9.

Rice not doing so well this year. About as good as SC.

    Miami is 28-14.

    Duke is 25-17.

    All private schools, I think.

The private school issue is one of many reasons for the lack of success since 2005.

That is a goddamned shame, considering they are the stewards of the most storied program in college baseball history.

Guess they'll just run it into the ground.

Rod Dedeaux has to be Turing over in his grave. May he RIP. I have met the man and talked with him at USC, he was a true Trojan and what our AD department has done with that storied program is a shame. All of the coaches we have run off have performed better at other schools. What a shame!

Record now at 20 - 24 - 1 to be exact. Must fire Hubbs the day season ends on the tarmac or on his answering machine.
The team needs to win 8 out of 11 to finish above .500 with only 3 of the games at home. Nervous if Swann still in charge
who his laughable national search will bring to the front of the pack.

Exactly. You get it. Many people get it. Hubbs and and Swann the only two who don't.
