I know this topic has probably been beaten to death. The SEC, ACC and a few other conferences seem to have gotten their program together yet the PAC 12 languishes. I feel bad for the kids. It has to pain them watching these other teams and friends play. I will miss going to the coliseum but most of all I will miss seeing our guys play with or without a crowd. I have not figured out how the Pac 12 cannot seem to institute the same program as other conferences that are playing. I ask that if you respond let us not make this political. I would be more interested in hearing how we could manage so we could compete like the SEC, ACC and now possibly the Big 10. Thanks ahead of time.

With the new testing, I’m hoping they can get us up and running by November?

Tufele has signed with an agent, so no going back for him. Haven’t seen Vera-Tucker sign, but I’d guess he’s likely to go that route as well.

See this article posted from the Oregonian... Pac-12 is aggressively working on starting football games before the end of November. The article also notes that Pac-12 medical officials have already been in ongoing talks with state health officials in California and Oregon about the new one day testing procedure and protocols for handling positive CV19 cases on the teams once physical contact practices were allowed by local health officials.

Either way, the PAC-12 becomes less and less relevant. We have a feckless commissioner, feckless university presidents (for the most part) and feckless governmental leadership in all our western states. Can you imagine PAC-12 games in January after all the bowl games and CFP are over. Our doofus commissioner will crow about how PAC-12 football is the only game in town and about how our ratings will go through the roof. In the meantime all our better players will transfer or declare for the draft.

I’m embarrassed to be part of a society this fearful. Ourstate is embarrassing. Our conference is embarrassing, Our university is embarrassing. I predict by the end of the season other conferences will have stands filled with fans and students, schools will be back in session and California will be hiding due to a moral panic lead by an unholy alliance of big business, leftie politicians and the unholy media. I am having serious second thoughts about my kid starting USC in the spring, given that we will probably still be hiding from life.

Along with high taxes, public defecation and sound public forestry and utility policy. I just don’t get the fear six months out with stacks of data that shows these shutdowns are pointless and costly.

SC DAD, Lets watch closely how this experiment evolves these next few weeks, lets hope their results make the pack12 look foolish for humanities sake; but if ugly results develop you will be mighty proud you elected SC for your kids education.
The absence of fear is the most fearful thing of all.

Remember with the Atlantic called Georgia reopening an “Experiment in Human Sacrifice?” Remember when Houston hospitals were going to get overwhelmed? How many times do we need fearmongerers to make bad predictions before we actually follow science?

I feel bad for Ohio State. At least they have a program that could conceivably win the CFP. SC is a joke, doesn't have a shot, and I don't care if we play or not.

Pretty sure the Big10 is going to reverse fields tomorrow, or Monday, and vote to play in October.
