“We’re had two tackle, full-padded practices,” So’oto said. “On the defensive side, we count that as actual practice."
    ...Thank you.

    "See ball. Get ball."
    ...Music to my ears.

I’m looking forward to watching this defense develop this fall on the field.

The 2021 season may as well be considered Orlando's "first" at 'SC, because he didn't get a Spring to do a proper install of his defense until now.

I know we've all heard prior coaches say all the right things and most of us are at a "I'll believe it when I see it" mindset, but I'll say something feels different about the Defensive mentality and I couldn't be any more pleased reading So'oto's comments. I expect his defensive front to be much more active than what we've seen of late.

This could be a statement from almost any pre-season...
I appreciate the optimism...but I'll believe it when I see it.

Once (thrice?) bitten, twice shy....totally get it. Maybe I'm nuts for drinking a bit of the KoolAid and expecting things to change, but the run/hit, be a hunter mentality can only help us out with the athletes Vic has at his disposal. Color me cautiously optimistic.
