We look less pathetic than usual tonight, but Utah’s horrible.

5 Utah turnovers. They are pretty bad. I would not be pumping our chests over this win. I will take the win but I would not be running around telling everyone how great we are. We have some tough games coming up. UCLA will not be a pushover.

 

Helton isn't going anywhere. He will make it through this season and the next. I think that will take him to the end of his contract. I never thought we would see him fulfill that contract. Guy is the luckiest man on the planet.

 

Our best performance so far.

Was that five or six Ute turnovers?

Fell asleep during the 4th.

Those announcers didn’t help, but clueless clown’s mediocre product on the field was the real kicker.

At the beginning of the season, it looked like ASU and Utah would be our toughest hurdles.

Colorado and Juicy are looking pretty good right now...

It's called skill baby.

 

Except for letting Bentley get loose for the long run in the first half (and Greg Johnson's stupid PF penalty later in the drive) and a bit of poor tackling on a few plays in the second half, this was the best game the defense has played in a long time. I really liked the multiple blitzes Orlando has put in, but I hope he doesn't start to blitz on every down as PC started to do late in his USC tenure. Goforth had an outstanding game. Figueroa started like a house afire, but maybe got winded by the fourth quarter. But he is becoming a pleasant surprise up front.

The offensive line continues to be a problem as they can't give the RBs much space to operate. Chrishon's big run was the result of deception rather than blocking. Field Goal kicking may win us a game or two.

All in all, a good win that we can enjoy.

 

Ehh, I wouldn’t let that victory....over a team that no doubt could hardly practice for 3 weeks and not play a game...count for much. Utah was sloppy, error-prone, and down their starting QB early.

If ‘SC couldn’t beat those guys....under those circumstances.... that would be pitiful.

Feels like the offense still could do better. Kedon has the time to throw. A couple of those plays he just didn’t see receivers sitting in the zone. Not sure what’s up w that. The D looked pretty damn solid.

 

Pandemic saved this moron ... sadly, he is around next year,too. At some point this horseshoe up his fat arse or teflon or blind luck will finally disappear. Until then USC football remains dead.
